Jettomero: Hero of the Universe is the most laid back and relaxing game that I have played in a very long time. You play as Jettomero, a giant, indestructible, and incredibly clumsy robot determined to save the human race. You also explore a procedurally generated universe by flying through space and landing on planets while trying not to destroy everything in your path.
The gameplay mechanic of Jettomero is pretty much the same throughout the game. You will fly from planet-to-planet, universe-to-universe in search of an explanation to a greater mystery. You will fight different robots that you encounter along your journey, as well as discovering different parts to outfit Jettomero.
Aesthetically the game is gorgeous with a relaxing soundtrack. I kept coming back day after day, finding different items for Jettomero and getting closer to the truth.
If you’re looking for the type of game to come home to after a long day of work to get lost to, Jettomero: Hero Of The Universe will come into save your afternoon. It’s the most relaxing game that I have played this year and it’s one that will probably be a hidden indie gem for months to come.
